Alexander Alvarado is a composer whose music explores color, texture, and form with a distinctive musical language. Rooted in classical tradition yet open to contemporary influences, his work focuses on creating expressive and carefully shaped musical narratives.

Born in Moscow and raised in Bogotá and Sydney, Alexander studied at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, where he developed his craft under mentors including Anne Boyd AM. Now based in Berlin, he is working on a range of projects including a ballet, orchestral works, and chamber music—each reflecting his ongoing interest in transformation, memory, and the complexity of human experience.
